I’d bet the farm Leger is on the bump opening day next season

You think Lahare is a role player? Kid was the best hitter on the team, is aggressive as hell, and brings some swagger to the lineup. If he comes back, he's a lock for a premium spot in the order.

I hope he is back also, but know he was gone last year if not for the injury and know he was in the dugout to evaluate what remains to come back next year.
Also, you said Lahare was a role player???? He was by far the best hitter on the team at 321/470/388. I would bet the farm if he is back he will be in the outfield and hitting at the top of the lineup at the beginning of the season.
Re: 2019 Cajuns Baseball Lineup???
Not questioning his aggression he played with. Not questioning his passion. He was one of the better hitters on a bad baseball team. His defense wasn’t great either. I love the energy and passion he brings, but we talking about talent

Find me a team with three outfielders batting 321 or above and I'm pretty sure I will show you a team in the field of 64. We must not have watched the same LaHare on defense.
Re: 2019 Cajuns Baseball Lineup???
We must not have. And that’s fine. I have nothing against the kid. I love his passion. For me it’s no secret we need an upgrade in talent level across the board. His speed allows him to cover some ground, he doesn’t throw particularly well, and at times it’s an adventure watching him catch a fly ball.

LaHare was best hitter on team most of season. He also plays with lots of passion. He is more than a role player.
Re: 2019 Cajuns Baseball Lineup???
Does anyone know the kids that are coming in this fall??
I’ve heard of a couple from LSUE one being a pitcher that hits mid 90s and the other is the SS. Heard the SS is a good ball player. Never seen him play but if he’s anything like his dad he will fit in and bring some attitude!

Connor Joffrion out of Parkview Baptist should be a solid addition. Really good kid. Fast as a lightning bolt. Hud was looking at him as a QB. He's an outfielder. Phillip Hawke, former Cajun baseball player, is Parkview's batting coach.

Hannie was a tremendous athlete at STM. If healthy, and hopefully he is, could be an excellent addition to the ball club.

I would throw Templet in there as well. There may be another transfer or two as well.

The key is health.
