There may be some conferences that outlaw it, but you can still buy a beer at some D1 football games - they're just very few and far between.Quote:

Also, folks tailgating & not going to the game is not unusual. I know of SEC games where this happens all the time, though part of the reason is because tickets are not available. There will be as many people outside the GA - FLA game in Jaxville this weekend as inside.
