Well said. I'm tired of people asking about others doing well. That's what HE was brought here to do, win championships and get to the NCAA! He's not done that nearly enough!

I cannot understand why we keep extending Marlin's contract. We are a non-relevant basketball program and have been for many years. How long do we have to put up with this type of performance. Just like in football, I don't care how many wins against the Sun Belt or any other irrelevant program that we have, it's not good enough, even if you win 20 of them. Can't stand this kind of mediocre program. We might as well just pay bottom dollar, put the money somewhere else and accept a losing basketball program.

Look, I’m pretty sure we all realize it’s easy to come to the board and _____ after games like that. But c’mon ppl. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
We neee to have surgery on this program, because the apathy has become malignant. It’s truly sad.

His new deal allowed UL to lower his buyout. I makes sense coming off a 27 win season and correcting a poor past decision. I realize it doesn't look good to many, but it was the right thing to do at the time.

For both parties involved. After next season, his buyout will be half of what it previously was under the the former agreement.

So,what you really sayin is the extension was meaninglees for him cause his exit strategy was locked in by the administration. That is only good for one side.

I read that his buyout would cost the University less than before. Seem like an equitable deal. Bottom line is Marlin will have to shore this up over the next year. The players who stepped in for the departed seniors have been a downgrade and after this year he will have no legitimate stars. A lot will be riding on next years recruiting class.

What happened to Jakeenan Gant last night? I saw where he only played 14 minutes and went 0-3 from the floor. Did he get hurt?
