They don't stand a chance.
They are ranked 121st in the NCAA, so a 14th seed might be generous.
Houston was ranked 4th, yet they got a #3 seed.
They probably feel sighted. Wouldn't want to face them.
That is similar to what happened to us in Lee's first year. We drew 4 seed Louisville (RPI in single digits, and eventual national champion).

Who did we play and lose to in 2014?
What was our seeding?

Creighton, and we were a 14, I believe.

I guess 14 is about average for the Sun Belt.

Since the teams who care about basketball left, yes. When MTSU and WKU were members 12 was average and 10 not unheard of.
Re: Fire Coach Bob Marlin Now!
Speaking of MTSU, do you think Kermit Davis can win their first round game, Ole Miss v OU?

Yes, absolutely. OU doesn't deserve to be in the field IMO. Its two teams that are probably evenly matched up.

Thought so, thanks.
Re: Fire Coach Bob Marlin Now!
So 1 tournament appearance in a decade and Admin still want him around .... Though we were passed the USL phase if that's the case take away Rcaf and let us park and tailgate for free. Athletic department sure does not care about moving the needle so stop make me pay for you to act as such.
Re: Fire Coach Bob Marlin Now!
Anyone know what the average RPI of teams we beat this year ended up being? Same question for losses?
Also, how many D1 wins did we have? 16?
When’s the last time we lost to 4 RPI bottom 200 teams in the same year?

Re: Fire Coach Bob Marlin Now!
Average RPI for all D-1 wins was 220. That is a damned shame. As expected, 0-4 in Q1 games.
