Let's focus on something. A few people have pointed out the importance of the assistants in the resurgence of the program. I think they are spot on. Very similar to what the staff meant to Napier.
I think if we want to keep this level going, we will need to bump those guys' salaries.

A road trip abroad would definitely sped up chemistry, especially with transfers coming in.

I'm not the biggest basketball fan in the world, but there are three things that this team did this year that I didn't see as much in the past
1 they shot free throws and made those points, it drives me nuts to see teams that aren't good free throw shooters since to me that shows a team that doesn't pay attention to the small details
2 they rebounded and had multiples around the board which enabled them to have rebound points
and 3 they were very good from the 3 point range which would open up the inside game when needed.
No. If the road trip to PR was going to pay dividends it would be in team chemistry and the cohesiveness of the team. Bob has said as much those days are a great bonding experience for his team. Jay said last night in the post game of all the years he has done UL basketball he has never saw a team more together and that cared for their teamates more than this one…… Fast forward to a tourney championship and trip to the dance. This team got better and better as the season progressed and I think Marlin did a great job of coaching. But I don't think Puerto Rico had anything to do with winning the Sunbelt tournament.
