Tulane has a bar in the student union

Did the shooting originate on Lamar or Stephenson?

he was there to get his guy and he got his guy . . . he probably caulks that up as a win
Re: Shooting at KOK across from campus
KOK has an outdoor seating area that fronts on Lamar. This area has a wooden fence that is along Lamar. Apparently the altercation happened outside of this fence and there were stray bullets that penetrated the fence and hit three people in the seating area. (THAT IS A GUESS ON MY PART!!!!) They were probably sitting by the fence enjoying a meal and just like that one of them is dead and the other two are headed to the hospital.
I did leave my house about 6:30 to go to the grocery store. I drove down Stevenson street and it was very crowded and saw no security (they usually have security when they have an event). As I was driving down the street I started to get a bad feeling about the situation. I passed by KOK on University on my way back home (about 7:00 P.M.) and saw people in line in the front of the place waiting to get in. Again I saw no security. I got back in my house and listened to the rest of the football game and didn't hear any shots or sirens. I got a text message from a friend at 8:41 asking me if I heard about the commotion at KOK. I said no.
The only thing I know is that usually when they expect a big crowd they have security. They did not have any on Saturday. Probably a bad decision. Once the police got there and secured the scene they cleared everybody out by about 9:00. I let my dog out in the back yard about that time and saw the flashing lights and figured they finally got some security and tons of cars leaving on Stevenson street. At the time I didn't know about two people getting killed and another two being injured.
As an aside, Nathan Pike has some work to do because the KATC news app has nothing on this incident while KADN and KLFY do. That's sad.

Their “neighborhood reporter” wasn’t available.
I wish Nathan well. After taking charge, I hope annunciation classes are scheduled for most of his field staff. It’s impor’ant!!!
The biggest hurdle is the format. Surfing the lazy wave for a week on (one if the common themes) a business that is destroyed by fire/natural disaster is stale on day 2.

Do they still have a concession booth in the south end zone at football games?

Re: Shooting at KOK across from campus
arrest made in the KOK shooting. that was pretty quick. I did see some cops there today looking around, probably for evidence. That probably should have happened before the deluge of rain this morning.

What the hell is going on in St. Martinville to cause this shenanigans?
