Seems to me that anyone enrolled in on-line learning is a student and should be counted in towards enrollment. If that is not the case, why not? That has to be a partial reason why schools like UCF have over 50,000 enrollment.

Online learning provides great opportunities for those who want a degree, who are also employed. I would think online numbers are counted in total enrollment numbers. I'll be curious to see how hybrid learning evolves in the coming years. Think how many freshman and sophomore level courses could be taught online while also taking some courses in the classroom.
