400 athletes and 200 athletic staff, 2 to 1.

We aren’t even close to 20000 students.

Led by a large increase in the graduate school, in 2019 enrollment had risen to 19,403.

Then it a sharp drop came when online learning could have (should have) doubled enrollment.

On a brighter note 2022 saw the largest influx of freshmen in 5 years.

I have no doubt that the increase was fueled by the advertising success of the football program "prior" to 2022.

I’m curious also. Neat article on difference of human habitation work vs fossil dating. I know that cultural comparison is used for type of tools, pottery, etc with those used by known cultures. Neat to think early Louisianans were poaching in the Katachie even back then. No sign of crawfish boils??

Only when you dust does it leave a sign of a crawfish boil. I doubt that has Slap ya Mama, Zatarans, Swamp Dust, ext., back then . . .

Maybe reaching R1 status has become an important factor in student decisions.
