Mike you're constantly telling us that support, success, isn't much different than anywhere else in the South. Given that it seems we're now content to NOT be special because that's hard. Why then bother considering how expensive it is to attend a game and little hope for meaningful success.
Finally if that’s the case why bother paying Marlin, or anyone a big fat check?

And thats a big deal. Marlins wins are garbage. The mans getting paid like a king for the teams he puts on the court. Let me be clear. This is not a knock on our players. Ron Hunter could take our team last year and not only win the SBC tourney, but probably knock out a first round win.

Actually UAB won CUSA as the Muts lost the Championship game at home the week after they beat them.
So there you have it. Maggard needs to get with MTSU as they have the blueprints. How consistent this remains is yet to be seen.

We went all last year even convinced a bunch of people to go to the little rock game to help with the attendance to look good for brown (made me look like a fool) . It's not the players fault we are not attending it's the excuses as well as Mike Murphy's interview SLUed the deal for most of us .

Some are tired of being told it can't be done, look around nobody is doing it.
I prefer this Democrats view on the hard things.

Butler, Wichita State were pointed out as models but they are not really because they are in much different situations. We cannot transplant UL out of the South and into basketball country nor can we reallocate football funds. The other schools pointed out have not had a level of success that is not that much greater than ours.
Come up with a program that is in the same situation and has sustained, top-tier success, because I don't really see one.

Would you have hired Sampson after the mess in Indiana?

Same as Marlin's last 5 years. I'm just comparing apples to apples in the Sun Belt, since that is how long Ga State has been in the league.
