Well that should never prevent us from getting a young guy some experience. However, we still have the season in front of us conference schedule wise, and the West, with the exception of maybe TX State, hasn’t looked impressive so far this season. This team was never a CFP contender anyway, so roll with Ben and see if we can win games in the West. Jay and CMD Coach's Show was very encouraging last night. You get a glimpse of what make Des such a good football coach, with his brief interaction/discussion with Bill Davis and Jaden Dugger. Very genuine and personable. That's the kind of stuff we can't really see from the stands as fans, that someone like Dr. Maggard sees on a daily basis.

Just re watched the game. Ugh frustrating. There was a blatant face mask on Ben on the last grounding call. I don’t know how they miss that. Almost ripped his helmet off.
I have a rules question. If a face mask would have been called. Would the grounding still be a penalty? Offsetting replay the down? Seems like the grounding should be nullified since it occurred after the FM.
