Yesterday on his show, Jay Walker said that his source told him that Pry hasn't even been contacted by our admin.

That is correct. Has not been interviewed to this point.
Re: The Case for Kevin Sumlin
Sumlin, even for a year, would be incredible. We could embed a reasonable buyout so we make most of our money back if some big school comes calling after we go 11-1 and then we get to do this coach search thing again. I'm enjoying it anyway. Way better than listening to Boomer drone on about Massey and Jesuit.

Interesting, do we assume Maggard is concentrating on an offensive guru?

Except that he'd not be coaching A&M talent competing against SunBelt talent.

Ha! Shot at boomer...
I think you give him a competitive base and then load that puppy with incentives.. I'd even include $500k for an Access Bowl birth. $150k for a conference championship. Bonus for top 50 recruiting class. Bonus for graduation and APR achievements. Bonus for leading the SBC and G5 in attendance. Bonus for BEATING LA TECH. BONUS FOR BEATING P5.
Just spit balling.. But you get the idea.

I sure hope so.
Skill people are everywhere. Look at our roster. For G5 schools, it's all about points.

He ain't exactly facing SEC defenses either (well except for Alabama & Miss State next year) :)

True dat. Damn, I'm going to have a stroke waiting for the news.
Re: The Case for Kevin Sumlin
I like that Sumlin has solid ties with IMG academy. That place is stealing talent from all over the country and it's a major 4-5 star recruit depot. Not to mention the probable 3 star rest of their team who is up for grabs. Sumlin got mond, the quarterback from A&M last year out of IMG and shae Patterson went From Louisiana to there as well.
