Coming off a three-game sweep of James Madison last weekend, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Baseball team continues its nine-game homestand beginning on Tuesday when it hosts Northwestern State at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.
Ryan Broussard is still a bum.

Our infield defense is atrocious man we can’t throw the ball and our first baseman is to short
Hess balanced the hits with more strike outs (a couple of big ones) and no walks. Hammer has a rough night, but still got 4 Ks in 1.2.
Like that while we played a ton of guys again, at they got decent production pretty much throughout the line up.
It’s a win. Carry it over tomorrow.
Clayton Pourciau was really good behind the plate and in the batters box tonight in his first appearance as a Cajun. He was a VERY highly regarded C coming out of high school. It's only one game, but it was good to see.
He did have a great game tonight, but I think he started a midweek game a few weeks back.Quote:

Do you realize, we’re 15-15, with what 26 games left, it would seem we’d need 39+games to have a chance even to get invited without winning the SBC tournament, that means we need to be 24 of 26. Can’t see that. We got to win the SBC TOURNAMENT, that’s it.
