Good day so far, TSAB lost, McLeast lost (0-12 from 3).
And here, both teams start the night off with a turnover.

USA played the equivalent of two bad quarters of WBB. 9 points in the first ten minutes, 9 in the second ten minutes.

We’re still the team that can’t shoot straight.

For whatever reason UL is always on the short of stamina down the stretch almost every game this year.

If you want to see a microcosm of Cajuns basketball in 2025, go watch our possession that begins with 2:20 left in regulation. 9 passes beyond the 3 pt line. The ball never goes inside it. With 10 seconds left on the shot clock, we finally dribble 3 or 4 feet inside the line, kick out, and heave up a deep 3.
No disrespect to anyone on the team as people. They are trying their hardest, and I’m sure they are all great guys. It’s just inconceivable how far we’ve fallen.

Tie game with a chance to win and they chuck up a 3. Even if you have no luck driving to the basket, the foul possibility is there and you’re in the double bonus. That’s a higher probability than making a 3.

Thanks, my thoughts exactly.
The Cajuns played down the stretch exposing the weakness of the team. ZERO inside presence.
Month left in the season, MBB 10th, WBB 8th.

Re: MBB Final: Louisiana 58, South Alabama 62
Missed the post game with Jay returning to car. Did he ask Coach Z about last possession in regulation. Head scratcher. Our whole game plan is pass around the arc and shoot a three with under five seconds left while under duress. Great plan if you’re shooting 50%. That was bad play and coaching. We even saw coach having Mo play with his back to the basket. He drives. Period. Just silly bball. I guess we have no one that can play effectively inside. Poor Rvans looked lost. I don’t think we’re doing a very good job developing that kid. He’s such a great young man with so much upside…. But who is working with him????
Very frustrated evening. Just not fun watching really bad ball. It’s back to the Fletcher era when we had no defense. Now we can only play fair defense. No offense.
Arrrr.

Can’t wait until this is over. And we hire a good coach to re build this thing.

Sucks to lead most of the game only to lose at the end. Very similar to USM game

Figure if the staff is totally replaced, HK will get “offered” by McNeese and A State

Re: MBB Final: Louisiana 58, South Alabama 62
UL needs a complete identity change. the coaching of players IQ has been bad for very long time. The guys give great effort, but thats not enough to win consistently alone.

There's simply is no inside presence. Hopefully Kentenge will be back next year for us and not with someone else.
