____. The only thing that could save us would be Monken to USM. Also, maybe USM doesn't want HUD if they know he goes to state as soon as Mullen leaves

I doubt this is true. The fact is, Archie and Glenn have been very tight lipped about all of this. The leaks and rumors are coming from the prospective coaches' agents. Two days ago, HUD was a done deal. Late this afternoon, Smart was house shopping in Oxford. Now Fedora is the guy.

247rebs have been wrong before, just like I have and everyone else. They probably won't know until we do, which will be shortly after the new coaches tell their in-laws. So no need to go jumping off of bridges just yet.

What's sad is that is I'd Fadora goes to either ole miss or miss st. He'd be leaving the best football team in the state

Absolutely this. If there isn't a better example of "Through the Looking Glass" in college football than this, I can't think of it.

And maybe he (Fedora) realizes that; maybe his agent (or he himself) "leaked" the job offer info so So. Miss will up there ante to keep him.

It is a 2-way street and rumors can be started by anyone.

Thats a good point. Doesnt Fedora make about $1 million at USM? I would highly doubt that he would get the $2+ that Nutt was getting, so if USM gives him a raise, he'd be better off staying. Well, other than the other schools have the "prestige" of being in the SEC.
