I doubt this is true. The fact is, Archie and Glenn have been very tight lipped about all of this. The leaks and rumors are coming from the prospective coaches' agents. Two days ago, HUD was a done deal. Late this afternoon, Smart was house shopping in Oxford. Now Fedora is the guy.

247rebs have been wrong before, just like I have and everyone else. They probably won't know until we do, which will be shortly after the new coaches tell their in-laws. So no need to go jumping off of bridges just yet.

And maybe he (Fedora) realizes that; maybe his agent (or he himself) "leaked" the job offer info so So. Miss will up there ante to keep him.

Thats a good point. Doesnt Fedora make about $1 million at USM? I would highly doubt that he would get the $2+ that Nutt was getting, so if USM gives him a raise, he'd be better off staying. Well, other than the other schools have the "prestige" of being in the SEC.
