I own several fountain pens... the one I really want is about $900 (not getting that one anytime soon).

I have a Montblanc Mozart, sometimes it works. But the story behind it is interesting. It's a short pen to take to the opera. You tuck it into the pleats of your tuxedo cumberbund.

Which was a revelation to me: the pockets in the pleats should be facing up. That's where you're supposed to keep your tickets.

Now you know.

This is the one I lust after. When we lived in Spain, there was a stationery store around the corner from us, and this was in the display window. I stopped and drooled every time I walked past.
