I don't know if this subject has been covered yet, but LUS is putting red ragin' cajun flags all over utility poles in Lafayette. Look up toward the top of poles around town and you will see them. Pretty neat!

They did this a few years back with those long red banners at all the big intersections and on and around campus. I love that somebody is doing something.
This has been going on for some time now, but if you notice, these banners are newer and are not faded and torn like previous. I believe UL buys them and LUS puts them up. It is not a city contribution other than access to the light poles. Anyway, it DOES LOOK GOOD AND THANKS TO CITY. This is PRIDE OF OUR UNIVERSITY at work.Quote:
