Baseball 1909

Seven games were scheduled for the 09 season. What we have found so far is the team started the season 3-0

The first matchup was a double header on campus of SLII vs St. Martinville.

SLII won game one 4-2 (7 innings)
and won game two 10-2 (9 innings)

On Friday May 7th SLII won the third game of the seaon in defeating the Lafayette Sunday league by a score of 12-4 (9 innings)

The next week a return double header engagement was scheduled in StMartinvile. (we have not found these scores.)

	Boys Dormitory News
	An exciting game of base ball was played between our team and the Broussard boys here last Saturday on the Institute campus. Only three innings were played, darkness prevented any further playing. At the end of the game the score stood 6 to nothing in favor of S.L.I.I.
