In A.C. "Red" Morris's own words
USL ALUMNI NEWS October 1961 A.C. "Red" Morris
"A notation about our 1916 football team is, I believe, deserving of mention.
As far as I know, that team set a record at S.L.I. (SLII) which as yet has never been bettered. No team in the conference scored a single point against us that entire season even though we were rather limited as to the number of players. In fact, we had so few players that it was quite necessary that I play every minute of every game that entire season!"
Check out this 1921 tidbit. A.C. played in the famous "4 Brothers" game.
