As with all the games we are just trying to create a little far-flung interest in Louisiana baseball
It's simple just pick the games UL will W or L for the upcoming week. Each W/L represents your pick in chronological order.
Each real Ragin' Cajun baseball game will represent a single UL@BAT for you. If you call a W and the Cajuns Win you hit a single. You also hit a single if you call a loss and the Cajuns lose. If you are wrong in your prediction it counts as 1 out, 3 outs clear the bases, and it is a new inning for you.
Your goal it to get as many batters on base as you can and push players across home plate. Both your players on base and your outs carry over to the next week. Missing a game counts as an out, and accumulates towards advancing through the innings.
The game ends at the end of the season or when all but one has advanced through 9 innings. Meaning you can be wrong only 27 times. If there is a tie and there is enough season left we will have extra innings.
You can hit 1 home run a week. To do so you will have to place 1 "exact prediction" next to the game you expect it to happen. We will add types of prediction in the next post. Note: Only 1 prediction per week. If correct it will get you a home run. You might want to save it for when the bases are as full as they can get that week.
