Baseball America poll is out.....

Oral Roberts is a nice game to have on the schedule and I am looking forward to it. Oral Roberts won the 2006 Fayetteville regional and gave #1 national seed Clemson all they could handle in the Supers. Last season they lost a tough 4-3 opener to Arizona in the Wichita regional, before being eliminated by an angry Shocker team (that lost to UNO in the opener).

UTSA has some good pitching returning and is probably the favorite to defend their SLC regular season crown. They beat some very good teams last year, just not the Cajuns. Sam Houston State will also challenge in the SLC, among a few others.

_ Florida Atlantic should be nice. All the other non conference road games of week days except for the Texas San Antonio invite, and that does not look to be too appealing, playing Army and Oral Roberts along with the host team. _

FAU is in a very nice part of the world. FWIW the players really liked San Antonio the last time they went. They must have an excellent library system.

i will be there, but I really liked the game played at the Shrine on Airline. Plenty of parking, and leg room in very nice stadium chairs.

I played/coached against him in high school when he was at Breaux Bridge. He was a hell of a pitcher then. If he has progressed like any college athlete should, I think he, harmon, and robe along with the rest of pen should be a force in the late innings.

I believe in make-up calls in all sports, since everything is more subjective than anyone will admit... so, if we are any where near a bubble situation, the Cajuns should get any split decisions. _

There will be no hosting of NCAA regionals this year... Lighting standards go into effect and the Tigue does not meet them - and will not meet them this year. Better news to come...
