Triple option, zone read, air raid, wing t, single wing, Notre dame box...I don't care just run something that works.

It would be if I was just a fan of football. But I'm actually a basketball fan first.

Again, this is wrong. They passed literally 20% of the time. They totaled 160 pass attempts the entire year versus 611 rushing attempts. How is this balanced?

So, if this is true, it would please me greatly.
    So you don't like balance?

If you're running a pro-set, balance is key. If you're running any kind of spread, your numbers will be skewed to the pass if it's an air raid or to the run if it's a zone read as 2 of the options in the zone read are runs.

To seek balance with a zone read or a traditional option attack is silly.

I just ask since you said to give you either a true passer or an option offense. I thought you were speaking from one extreme to the next. I prefer balance and I do believe it can be obtained through running a chunk of zone read. We did it from 2011-2014 so I know it can be done.

    2014

    rush att: 548
    pass att: 370

    2013

    rush att: 564
    pass att: 319

..and those numbers should have been even more skewed towards the run as I thought TB didn't keep it near enough on the read.

Isnt the zone read a running play and qb reads the DE to either handoff or keep? RPO gives the passing option.
And the spread option offense is usually more run-oriented?
