100% agree. If we win those, I think we can then maybe get stAte and ULM. I don't see us beating either GA team.

    State beat South Alabama.

South is a schizophrenic team. Beat Miss State and Ranked SDSU. Lose to us and Ark State.

Cajuns opened as 12 point road favorites against TXST. That line since moved to -6, but hey, just win this week if it's not too much to ask. I can't bare to think about the rest of the season. Just please win the one game we are actually favored to win.

Cajuns a 12 point favorite at TxSt. How bad they gotta be!

Still, in spite of everything, most of the offensive problems are self inflicted. If HUD can overcome his negative tendencies we might become a fair offense.

Just reading off the ESP-N stats:

    UL - TXST
    Points per game: 23 - 27.5
    Points allowed: 32 - 43
    Yards allowed: 411.3 - 515.3

I'd say the numbers are inflated because they played Houston and Arkansas, but gave up 54 in a win against a half decent Ohio team, but 41 and 40 against GST and Monroe.

They nearly split what they give up per game passing and rushing, but I'd imagine that the coaching staff will surprise us all by relying heavily on the run.

This is about as good a matchup as the Cajuns will get until the month of December.

Right now it seems that one interception is equal to 12 runs for zero or little gain.

In other words 3 punts are no worse than 1 int. Or so it seems to equate with the decision makers.

Until someone recognizes that a deep int is just a premature punt, UL won't be scoring 40.

Does not measure momentum shifts though.

The momentum shift is found in the cease and desist passing edict.

We will have to get a lead early if we want to win this game.

After we lose to Idaho, we need to scrap the hail mary attempt and get next years qb some game experience the rest of season.
