Boise is definitely at another level than we are. That was loud and clear today. They are a premier G5 team and could easily compete in the P5 imo.
It's depressing to admit but it's true
The truth is that EVERYONE even remotely tied to this game should be totally EMBARASSED. The fans for not showing up....the students ESPECIALLY, FOR NOT EVEN REMOTELY SHOWING UP, the coaching staff for not being prepared, not having the team in shape, and playing not to lose too bad until way too late, and the team for not demonstrating anything....period. Boise did not have superior talent ... they were coached better, they played better, and they looked better acclimated to the heat and humidity than we were.
Today did not look anything like a home game. The crowd was pathetic, the team was BAD, the coaching was BAD. Sad to say, but I didn't see anything out there today to be proud of
I never leave Cajun games early. But today, it took everything I had to remain in my seat until the clock read 0:00. I was almost hoping the heat would get to me and the First Responders would force me to leave!!!
We appreciate the passion many have for the name issue, but right now, that should not be anywhere near the top of problems this program has.
I'm sorry Turb - but maximum effort won't cut it with minimum coaching, no matter what the name on the diploma says.
Goal talk shouldn't completely cease, I agree. However, looking for land in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico while the boat is taking on water isn't going to make the boat stop sinking.
BAD, pas bon, slecht, schlecht, cattivo, malo!
