The win over Texas A&M will still be bigger.
The win over Boise State is a bigger victory than the Texas A&M victory
The victories are equal.
I hear they are snazzy dressers in idaho
I'm just excited about one thing in particular.....The college coaching debut of one Michael Desormeaux.....
I bet receivers don't quit on their routes. I'm looking forward to seeing an improved secondary. Even though I wasn't initally onboard with the Jenning's transfer, I've come around. I can't wait to see our offense. I think Boise is going to put up some points, but if our defense can slow them down and our much improved secondary gets a couple of turnovers we can be in it. We have more than enough talent on offense, if we don't turn over the ball we will move the chains and we will score. I predict a smartly played game with a win by an aggresive gutsy Cajun team. I'm also looking forward to trying a Ragin Cajun lager or two.
If any UL ballers are tuning in please indulge me a moment to do a little last minute coaching up. Imagine Boise's offense is a Ragin Pagin thread and imagine you're Penrod and shut it down. Now get out there Gentleman and put "the Hiatus" on them!
I remember a friend in WA talking up Jake Locker's game at UW several years back and telling him Desormeaux was better. Dez and Fenroy were quite a tandem, always felt we were on the cusp of something great then. I enjoyed those years too. Dez was a beast, a class act, but not a great passer. Whatever the score he was a winner. Our receiving corps will be better. Our team will be tougher. I have no doubt.
Careful... it takes little effort to get a thread shut down. We might actually need our defense to show some effort. And, they can't make false accusations and whine Boise State into going over the line. And even more so, you might want to ask our defense if there's a Turbine amongst them. He is the one that decides who gets tackled, penalized and sent to the sidelines.
Dez is a beast. I sure wish he would have gotten the chance in the I Bowl. He ended up just needing that break between regular season and the bowl to get that knee operational. It would have been a great game. Very unfortunate set of circumstances where some low life's prevented he and Fenroy getting to play in a bowl.
