What happened to S Al's rpi after playing Appy? If I remember correctly, it took a pretty good tumble.

Exactly why I say we can instantly become a bubble team unless we win the regular season or the conf tourney

Look at the bright side. Demo of the stadium can start 2 weeks earlier than we all planned. Any chance of hosting got flushed tonight.

south Al begins to stumble finally and we lay an egg against app state. We lost our chance to control our own destiny tonight I'm pretty confident

Your offbase. The Cajuns don't become a bubble team because of one lose to AppSt.

Hate to rain on your parade but that's not an option. Way too many subcontractors to rally in short amount of time.

Not directed at you RaginScotsman, but ...

I keep saying this like a broken record, but some folks do not seem to get it and think the season is ending whenever we lose a game such as this. There is no difference between this home loss and any other home loss w/respect to the WP component of the RPI. As such, losing to App State at home and defeating Tulane at home is no different than defeating App State and losing to Tulane (at home) w/respect to the RPI.

Also, folks should be looking at the RPI itself and the spreads ... not the rankings ... to get an idea of how far the ranking will fall. Not hard to see they were likely going to land around #21 without calculating anything.

I don't think I'm offbase. I don't see us winning the regular season. And I doubt we string enough wins together to get the automatic bid. And I don't see our RPI staying in the 20's by the end of season. We just way to hot and cold.

You stated we lost the chance to control our own destiny tonight. Now your changing the parameters. Nice try.
