Enough already with the excuses. NM St played in the exact same windy conditions that we did. We're just a crappy lower level Sun Belt team that was not properly prepared and couldn't play a lick of defense. One that again handicapped ourselves by sticking with a totally ineffective two quarterback system.
If the performances of this team over the last three games hasn't been enough to open the eyes of even the biggest diehard Cajun fan, then nothing will. This coaching staff needs a major overhaul once this season ends.
But the REFS don't like us either, and ESPN keeps calling us Lafayette, and we have weekly distractions, and we try to strip the ball, and it rained that one game, and we have injuries, and neither QB has taken the lead, and McGuire is not 100%, and the fans let go of the rope, and did I mention that benson and the sunbelt and ESPN and the advitiser all hate us and make us play bad.
Artigue had pulled a muscle fyi
I guess I should be positive today though because my Alma Mater, NMSU Aggies WON!!! But I'm not. Really bummed at this season. I really thought Cajuns were going 11-1 this year and win championship out right. Bought into all the preseason hype and coaches speak hook, line, and sinker.
If this was bad wait til we play mcneese. If we lose to mcneese I'm calling for huds head. Unsportsmanlike penalties are a lack of discipline, act like you've been there before. And browns been targeted for the last few games. And we still don't play the ball on D with the QB throwing ducks even Peyton manning said are soft. Brazil muffs the last kickoff and just walks away and gave up while another Cajun player had to run over and jump on the ball and kneel. Been saying it all year, attitude reflects leadership. Body language is terrible, and the basics of the game seem too complex for them. Unsure of assignments on defense, inability of the line to hold a block or break one on D, receivers dropping passes, and a missed field goal early and punt late hurt us.
