I wish Hud would have given Haack the same chance against Akron. But you know Akron is only a few wins away from playing in a BCS game.

The difference was Haack didn't have 190 yds on the ground against Akron. Obviously Hud feels his best chance to win is with Nixon, and it's not bc of his passing abilities.

As weird as it may be to say this, let's not put this on Nixon. Frankly, it's not his fault. The coaches want him in so he's doing the best he can. If the coaches want to run the ball 60 times a game, he's our man. However, they called the game like Drew Brees was back there pretty much the whole 2nd half. When we started getting McGuire in space, things started happening. I feel like the solution is painfully obvious. It's been discussed here 10,000 times. Let Nixon take those hard yardage carries, get McGuire in space, put Haack at QB. And, if Hud is too stubborn to go back to Haack after throwing him to the wolves the first few weeks then letting Nixon feast on Texas State, put in Jordan Davis and let him take his lumps so we can get him ready for next year. I know nobody on the team wants to talk about that, but if we don't make significant changes, we're not playing for anything this year anyway. Sorry to all those seniors, but if we can't get anything good out of 2015, we need to get the ball rolling on an improved 2016 ASAP.

That's when you know Haack is the better guy. When he still gets the opening day start and he obviously doesn't fit the system.

At this point if we lose 1 more game than you might as well start playing Jordan Davis and Haack. Get everyone some game experience and maybe find something promising to build on for next year.

No but he was 8-17 passing not the 1-12 Nixon was tonight.
