Removal of a 3/4 star athlete like Jeryl Brazil hurts our class raking because he doesn't show up. Yet everyone knows he is on campus and will play football so I'm ok with it.

247 has a class calculator in which you can add players and recalc the score. I just added Brazil back and our scores goes to 141.46 which would put us back past Toledo who is currently #80. But of course this doesn't fix the crux of recruiting ratings anyways.

I'm excited to see these kids on the field so we can determine what their true star value is. (pun intended)

Class rank is a beauty contest. There can be zero confidence in a seven or eight place difference between one schools and another.

On another point, in a vacuum of information I would feel better at #80 with 18 signed than #72 with 25 signed.

All the rating services are a joke. If a 4 star player de-commits from a P5 team and commits to a G5 team, he automatically drops to a 3 star player. A recruiting class is best judged by how well it fits a team's needs. Recruiting a stud RB when you already have three stud RB's may be great, but the team might be better off if another solid player at a position of need were signed. All in all, I think this looks like a very good class for UL. In the top third of G5 teams I'd say.
