The game was close into the 2nd quarter, until Ringo took that awesome fumble into the endzone. That was the fire starter Hud was looking for. After that, no contest. The first TD by McGuire shocked them initially, but Tx State tightened up and was driving the ball when that sack occurred. A huge game by Ringo. Also, a player that hasn't been talked about too much in a positive way before, that needs some credit for last night is Corey Trim. He played a good game, with some nice tackles and pretty good coverage. Good for him.
seems like we had alot of guys step up and play well. Another good sign of a team that is getting better and better
IMO, the game wasn't close at any point. They weren't scoring on us and it was only a matter of time before our offense got clicking (even after the McGuire TD on the second play of the game). They didn't have a drive longer than 25 yards until it was 28-3 and the only reason they got the FG was because the Aussie punted a ball backwards.
Late in the day but a decent article in TP online.

Different mentions from ESPN Tuesday night including (but not limited to):
LA-LOUISIANA -Lafayette, UL-Lafayette, Louisiana, Louisiana State, ULL, UL-L
The positive thing however was the constent use of Louisiana by the announcers (minus a few miscues). This is way more important than the graphics shown in my opinion. The mixed messages suck but I was very impressed with the announcers calling us Louisiana.
