Clement has been swinging well. Kind of surprised to see Butler in there instead of Clement, especially facing a righty today. Nothing wrong with Butler, I just figured Clement would be in again.

Robe trusts his pitchers. Wilson came into the weekend tired. He needs the rest. Asked Baranik if he wanted to go a couple innings or shut it down. B said he needed the rest. Won't throw Robe because we need to throw some bullpen guys into the fire. It's going to come down to our bullpen next weekend, so they need to be ready.

Bottom line:

1. These guys want to make sure they're fresh for next weekend. Show you today isn't the prize for this team.

2. Robe knows these bullpen guys have to find a way to work through adversity, because we don't advance in the NCAA tournament without them. What better adversity than a high-scoring championship game?

3. We need Milhorn - plain and simple.
