We stayed put at #4 in Baseball America! I told you guys, that 1 loss does not hurt us like you all thought! That's the big difference about this year, we already had their respect and attention before losing 1 game.

I don't know a thing about it, but your argument sounds right to me. How could you not have a team which reels off 10-15 wins between each loss a top seed nationally? It is college & every other school gets the same amount of schollies.

Honest question:

How much water does rank in these polls hold? At the end of the season, if you are in a position to host a regional and a super, guaranteeing you home field throughout the playoffs up until the 8 team CWS, does it really matter if you are ranked #1 or #5?

The closer you are to No. 1 the fewer excuse they have to lower our seeding. If you recall our softball team got shafted a couple of seasons back with the blessing for Scott Farmer.
