I'm not sure what the protocol is for the Children's parade is but for the bigger ones, the roads along the parade route close an hour before the parade rolls. So that's something to consider. Also, does anyone know if we can remain parked in the "baseball parking" lot through parade time. I plan on going to the parade after the game and don't really want to have to re-park somewhere.

There are several people who actually attend the baseball games here, like myself who have done this for years and haven't been inconvenienced at all. Baseball will still be the biggest event of the weekend at Cajun Field for Cajun fans...regardless of what petty ____ing grudges you and your buddy VO like to keep alive by bringing up even when you don't even attend the ____ing games. Who does that? Petty little men like you and VO.

Just like all the others who think I am a liberal...you ____ers make me laugh every time you fall into that trap. You can call me a blow hard all you want...it won't make me lose sleep at night. Your own ignorance keeps you a very petty, insignificant, little ____ of a man. Bow down little man.
You got me pegged, 6'3" 215 pounds, former athlete at this university who had the opportunity to play all four major sports here.

I have found that the most verbal men are not men of action, rather cowards who hide behind sharp verbal onslaughts.

You can call me a ____ all you want, I have accomplished more in my life than you ever will. You try so hard to be relevant on this board it is quite humorous, sad and pathetic actually. You continuously insult actual contributors on this board instead of actually contributing anything of merit here.

Guys like J1M and BWK which you like to stalk and insult are better fans than you. They don't go out of their way to insult or stalk you. But you continually derail threads with personal attacks. You are the typical Tigerdroppings poster and there are a growing group of fans on this site who are growing tired of your antics.

I'm pretty sure you can stay parked in "baseball parking" as long as you want.

Also, while the roads may close an hour before the parade, major intersections don't close until the parade is just about to cross the intersection... Hence, the access to gate 1 via Bertrand coming from Johnston....

I have found that most former athletes to be very immature little boys who never grew up. Projecting their fears outwards as hatred towards others less fortunate as them. It's textbook narcissism.

You have accomplished so much...yet you find time to insult me for something that I have struggled with my entire life. Such a big man you are. We should all be so lucky as to be so awesome like yourself. Save me the inferiority complex and just bash your skull into a brick wall. People like you are the reason why this world cannot have nice things. If you don't like what I put here...don't read it. No one is forcing you to read what I post. You can quit anytime you want. But no...that's not your style. If I actually cared what meat heads like you think about me...I wouldn't get anywhere in life. Thank god I can rise above...I'm actually a big man...not just some man-child who can't handle the world around me not handing me everything on a silver platter.

I have a huge amount of respect for J1M. The guy is a sharp poster here and a good man. Kyle...give me a ____ing break. I will concern myself with how you see me when pigs fly.

In the past (been sometime back) I did not have to move after the game. They usually try to keep the entrance to Cajunfield open as long as possible. The Children's parade starts at 12:30. IF it holds to form I would expect it to take at least two plus hours to get to Cajunfield. I really think the only issue will be for people arriving late to the game.

By the way I did not lose any argument, but your close minded view of the relationship of the Mardi Gras celebration and Louisiana athletics are typical and screams small time. To me the biggest event of the weekend is the Bama series not Mardi Gras. So any inconvenience to baseball without monetary compensation is an unnecessary event.

But you can continue to be a blow hard Bill Maher wannabe who unfortunately burdons us with your ignorance.
From what I understand there is a large monetary consideration for using the facility for Mardi Gras.
