I never really liked Lane Kiffin or expected him to succeed but I hate it when a coach gets fired while being hamstrung by his predecessors NCAA penalties.

Keep an eye on Jack Del Rio, currently the DC for the Denver Broncos. He's been interested in that job since Pete Carrol left.

Mississippi State doesn't look very good this year and they may want HUD. He will then have a decision to make. Does he want his dream job for about four or five years? They will not be able to compete with the big SEC powers and he will be fired. Or, does he want a job where he can grow a program and make a pretty good living for as long as he wants it?
