Softball plays 60 games a year and the schedule lockdown cannot be compared to other sports.
To start the season a "tournament" cancelled games knowing teams would meet later in the year.
In baseball (which plays a football season fewer games) games are dropped and added all season, every season.
This is no big deal for softball.
What this team needs most right now is cohesiveness and team unity. They need there head coach to be with them. This is not that big of a deal. Mike has to deal with a couple of medical procedures today and tomorrow. Mike and this team will survive without this mid-week game.
So it is a medical....fine...coach you are in our prayers and hope all is well...this is a long time w/o a game so let's regroup get the batteries charged...find out who is coaching...get our star back...Godwin and find out what regional we are going to......gooooooo Cajuns...
Dude, you are sticking your foot in your mouth. He has a medical procedure that needs to be performed, but I'm sure that didn't matter to you. The SID department is not required to tell you or anyone else exactly what the personal business was, is a private matter.
On the matter of quitting that you raised, there are two individuals involved and both share in the blame regardless of your opinion. Both realize that it didn't have to come to that now, but it did and someone else had to step in and fix it.
Should you know some of the facts, the other party doesn't get a pass in my book either.
