Wronkowski needs to come off the bench

Soto has been a much better option in my opinion

When will missed free throws NOT be an issue with our basketball program.

Looking at the stats both teams were equal in that respect. So where did we lose this game? We shot 12 of 22 FT's, 54%, FGM 23 of 60, 38% and TO' a total of 22......FIU matched that. So again where did we lose this game?

Just because the other team also missed free throws doesn't mean I will overlook it as a problem. I/we can only address our problems and issues...and we cannot depend on our opponent to help us by making the same mistakes.

    38 more attempts. 22 to 60

Still if UL just shoots 77% from the FT_ you are guaranteed overtime and probably the win (running away) because FIU would have been the team fouling at the end.

Exactly. The guys play hard but as a team, they are aweful at shooting FTs. This team has been in a position to win most of their games this year. If we were a decent FT shooting team, we could easily be 11-6 or 12 -5. But missing FTs is a killer...that and TOs which are consistently poor at

The Jay Walker theory on FT shooting---good shooters are good FT shooters---have to go along with this and a mural on the wall behind the baskets in the IPF of a Cajun Dome background ---Peripheral depth perception!!!!
