I've said it once, and I'll say it again. I think the "UL" argument is a waste of time. Push "Louisiana," and it will eventually catch on once football and basketball become consistent winners. I also believe "Ragin' Cajuns" should be emphasized as often as possible because it's a unique nickname.

Bigger contract because of the larger market sizes, chance to associate ourselves with USM, Marshall, ECU, and Tulsa, all good athletic programs, and lastly, if for nothing else, just to rub it in La Nechs face that they got passed over yet again.
