Take the westbank. It might add a couple more minutes but is usually worth it and will take you right to Canal if you get off at the right exit.

I'm not sure the program will make money off this game... a week of hotels for how many folks? Food, etc. etc. Doubtful we come out ahead.

We definitely will make money. Expenses are 300 grand. However, we got 100% of the first 9000 we sold and 50% of the next 9000. With an average price of $50 for 13500 tickets that is 675000 meaning a
profit approaching 400 grand. Average price may in fact be higher than $50 since many folks bought the
$62 tickets. Also, the bowl guaranteed us 50 grand for expenses. Put it all together and our take
approaches a half million. How do I know expenses are 300 grand, let's just say it came from someone
    who should know.

This is the same combo we wore for Troy, correct?

Then the article is wrong. It's 42,000 distributed not sold. The NO Bowl gives away lots of tickets. And im sure many of these will go unused. So while I expect a large crowd I definately wouldn't expect over 42,000.

You know, when our matchup with San Diego State came about.. I wasn't all that excited about the opponent. But the more I read, the more respect I have for the Aztecs and I'm starting to take this game a lot more serious and not just being happy that we are in a bowl, like I was before. Now I'm super amped about this matchup in particular and I believe it could go down to the wire.

That running back of theirs looks stellar. He should pose a tough task for our D, but I believe our team will step up to the challenge. With our crowd behind them, it won't be "like a home game" it "WILL BE a home game", no ifs ands or buts about it.

And Cajun fans, we need to step our game up and be LOUDER THAN WE HAVE BEEN ALL SEASON AT CAJUN FIELD! In the dome that sound will reverberate all over the place and we can really shake this Aztec team up on offense. Bring your lungs, and lather up your throats with whiskey before kickoff... because you had better be YELLING!!

    GEAUX CAJUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got on Ticketmaster, and the best available $60 tickets are in the plaza level on the 50 yard line of SDSU and the best available $40 tickets are in the first row of section 116. That tells me that the SDSU side of the dome will be really sparse, with only the bottom level close to being full. Still, the entire UL side and through the end zone is going to be packed.
