Nothing today, but on the front page I found out Jesuit soccer had a shoot out to settle a game.
That was for Boomer's benefit.
I understand LTU offered the BlueJay golie a schlorship if he refuse to visit UL. LOL
Hammer this is nothing new this bowl is not treated well by the media.
It may not be, but it's going to be hard not to look at 42k+ in attendance. I expect this bowl to fare better in the media next year. I also expect CUSA to be looking elsewhere for their 5th tie-in after snubbing the bowl twice. The Hawaii experience won't be as good as they would've gotten with a packed Superdome for S.Miss-Louisiana, either.
Just for you RC90. The teams for the national championship games have been awarded 17k seats each.
Reading various bowls I think UL and it's fans did not only OK, good, but frigging great. VT having problems selling it's allocated seats in a freaking BCS bowl with Michigan.
Your question poses a subtle shot at UL, and it's fans. We know from your history you are all in except if it costs anything at all.
Just think about it. This particular NOLA Bowl game could be the catalyst for turning this bowl game into one of the better bowl games in the future, in the media's eyes. And it all started with UL.
