Agreed. But the slow start and turning it around to get above .500 is getting very old. It reminds me of the "Bustle was bowl eligible however many years".

An at large bid to a regional is a good year for any team. The whole "fire Tony Robichaux" crap starts every year. It's annoying, but we have 3 freshmen starting at any given time. Conference play starts next weekend, we can start freaking out then.

You cannot compare Robe to Bustle no comparison.

The Dons had decent pitching today...... We certainly didn't run into an offensive juggernaut. USF is 7-8 batting a robust .237 with three batters over .270.

What's really puzzling is that it "seems" like there is better talent and depth on this team than last year. I did not expect us to be in this situation at this point in the season, but it is what it is...we can still win a conference championship, and that begins next Friday. The leaders of this team just need to take charge, grab the bull by the horns and get this thing done. The talent is there. Period !

I would say that our biggest problem right now seems to be leadership. We are missing a player like Osborne, or Jut that command excellence because they themselves are pushing so hard for excellence. I agree with Robe right now, We have upperclassmen that are playing like freshmen and are not stepping up as leaders. The only one seeming to step up is Fontenot, but I see a lot of timidness in porrier, goulas, and geith when its beyond important for them to set the standard.

not comparing the two men. comparing the fact that is the same thing year after year. slow start and come back to make a run. let's get off to a fast start for a change. i'm not calling for tony's head. i just think it's time for him to feel a little pressure and not have people blindly defend him no matter what.

The guy received an at-large bid to a regional last year. Runs one of the most successful mid-major baseball programs in the South. Has good kids and graduates his players.

Why should he feel pressure? Quick answer, he shouldn't.

I think its fine to question the coach from time to time. But Tony has a couple of bad seasons built up before he feels pressure.
