By the way both my parents are educators at Catholic schools, so needless to say we are not the "mythical" STM rich family that the whole world things about STM. They made huge sacrifices for me to get a Private Catholic school education. I know most people say it jokingly but it always rubs me the wrong way. In fact most of the kids that I graduated with were in the same boat, coming from hard working middle of the road families. _

My wife teaches at a Private Catholic School ... if both your parents are teachers as well, I cannot imagine the sacrifice it took to get you through school. It really is a shame the little amount of money teachers make. They form the future of our country and only do it because they love to.

That is the biggest load of crap response ever! If STM recruits, why is it we have only had 2 stud football players in over 20+ years? Jamie Howard and Javon Walker. By the way Javon Walker was a product of Fatima a feeder school for STM. Very seldom does STM have a football player go to a big time D1 school, however public schools like Carencro have many players end up at D1 schools. For all that recruiting, we sure aren't doing a good job.

High school players do not always translate to college players. When I went to school, several players went to STM on scholarships. They were not exceptional students, they were however exceptional athletes.

I don't a problem with it. I'm not trying to start a flame war.
