That's not choking. Baseball is a failure sport and they brought in the very best closer in the country to do his job and he did.

A choke job would be if we were up 7-8 and lost. That's a choke. Not this.

Well, this would be easier if they would have at least swung the bat in the 8th. Sorry to be the negative one guys, I just am tired of excuses. We need to really shoot for the stars in the future, mediocrity is painful.

Hopefully the Cajuns can steal another one from Rice and go 2-2 in the regional. With some hitters, maybe they can build on it next year.

We are not mediocre, we just can't compete with the big-time programs like Texas. We are a very good, but not great team. It is what it is. We're never going to have a 100 million dollar athletic budget.

We only needed 5 tonight, but we don't have the big bats to hit two out of the park like Texas did.

We've used only 3 pitchers. I would have liked to see Thad tonight, but he'll be ready to go after Satriano in the pen.
