The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team returns to M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park this week, hosting Big 12 opponent Kansas State in a two-game midweek series beginning Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Louisiana (5-2) brings a five-game winning streak into the series after sweeping Maryland over the weekend. The Cajuns capped the three-game set with a 6-5 victory in 15 innings on Sunday, grinding through a four-hour, 45-minute finale to secure the sweep.

Through seven games, Louisiana is batting .265 as a team with 67 hits and 48 runs scored. The Cajuns are 4-0 this season when scoring six or more runs and 4-0 when playing error-free baseball.
