Lanning’s Ducks getting smoked so far. Did not see that coming, expected a shoot out, not a blow out.

Can’t expect to win playing Santa.

Cignetti‘s job at IU has to be unprecedented. Took a bottom feeder to the best team in the country as of tonight.

His career will be aggressively studied by all coaches, universities, media, players, everyone.

How the hell he did this is crazy. Putting in 2s and 3s in the 3rd quarter of the cfp semis.

A major focus of Cignetti‘s is muscle memory.

Not trying to hijack, here’s my pet peeve with ULL. P-$$ poor consistency in marketing. Keeping Lafayette alive, even in athletics.

Using the same thought process, Des's 10 win COTY 2024 season can be traced almost solely to Woodworth

evidence that no matter the search and no matter the hire there would still be issue and birching manifested here about the Louisiana hire for football head coach - I guess the powers that be knew, saved the money and time, and swang for the stars with the DES hire

For sure, sports fans will second guess across the board.

In fact Miami or Indiana will be second guessing after the National Championship game.

There would be no sports world if not for second guessing.

And I agree, that in the rush to get it over with, they saved time with the Des hire. I'm not sure why they were rushing though.

And as far as "saving money" I think the opposite is true. Spending less only to have donors dry up, isn't necessarily saving money.

They spent way more on Napier than they ever have before, we were more successful than ever before and the people and money still didn’t show up and we went into debt. Maybe the administration realize the “fan base” always has a “yeah but” and kind of full of ___ when it comes to support.
