    2025

    DB 1 int/21 attempts
    LW 1 int/30 attempts

They both threw too many pics.

Also, in the SBC, this university ranked 11th in nearly every passing category except one. We led the league in picks thrown.

We have one of the worst passing offenses in the country.

    Dang. That was harsh.
Interesting that Des said in his presser yesterday he thought DB can still be a good player

    Walker Howard Stats:
    https://www.espn.com/college-footbal.../walker-howard

    18/39 - 155 yards - 46.2% - 3 INTS, NO TDS, 15 carries for 82 yards 1 TD

    Lunch Winfield Stats:
    https://www.espn.com/college-footbal...lunch-winfield

    106 / 182 - 58.8%, 1330 yards, 10 TDs, 6 INT's, 138 carries for 627 yards and 9 TD's.

Lunch Winfield should be told hands down you are our starter for 2026 and we need you to stay for that opportunity to have an even better season with a conference championship and CFP potential berth!
LOL! 😂 lol. lol. You’re joking right???

Not shocked. Des obviously has issues identifying talent at the QB position.

Do yall want him to tell the media "yeah this guy aint good, he needs to transfer"?

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

    Build the offense around Winfield.

He has a winning record in spite of the offense being designed for someone else.

According to most fans on the board Lunch is a lock to hit the portal!

I can’t imagine another FBS team that wants their passing game revolving around consistent accuracy would buy Lunch away from us. Now…a team that wants to run an offense like Rice or an offense like Bustle ran with Dez and Fenroy…that such program might be intrigued with Lunch.
And whether or not WH still wants to do this. There's been some talk of him just hanging it up.

The stats don't say everything and you know it. How many drive killing drops did we have against Rice. I believe Sampson had 6 drops on his own that game. Walker has not had a chance to truly prepare for opponents and get into any rhythm of the game outside of the Rice game. He's CLEARLY the more accurate passer. Hell, the Troy game he came in for a series and threw 3 perfect balls on significant pass plays where ALL were dropped.

I think there's a reason WH won the job at the beginning of the season and there's also a reason Lunch lost out to Beale. Lunch is notorious for not practicing well. Jay Walker talks about it often. It might be why his ceiling is limited over time.
