The ex AD is laughing his way to the bank too. He's owed $6 million. So in total, their top boosters (if they too will chip in for the AD buyout and not the university/state) are dishing out 60 million to fire 2 people.

Well sounds pretty bad if the what Landry said is true that the AD has the same agent and that the coach he is hiring. Sounds like a mixture of a major conflict of interest and collusion that has resulted in a really big cluster. It is interesting to watch though.

The Woodward guy left aTm in a mess with the Jimbo Fisher business now this at LSU. Looks like a pattern to me.

Remember in the midst of the depression he upped LSU’s budget a net 500% in 1930. 500k to 3M. Throw in the dorms/stadium, the Great Depression was great for LSU.

How much additional money are they receiving through Capital Outlay and other public funding sources? Whether they admit it or not, that’s indirect taxpayer subsidization. And now we’re watching “private” donors quietly raise over $100 million just to cover salaries for two new coaches and an AD?

Meanwhile, they’ve struggled to keep up with NIL deals compared to other major programs. They are about to end up doing what our local PeeWee teams do—putting logos and sponsor patches on their jerseys just to keep up.
