Differences in the game with Lunch:
-Receivers catching contested balls
-Offense hit on the shot plays late

I was sitting there throughout the game thinking that we haven't been getting explosive plays this season. No more Calais type huge runs. No deep middle pass completions. Then it started to click.

And our defense picked it up; we started making stops and good tackles.

Not injured, just was having an off night so they made the switch.

Not only quarterbacks and receivers have off days. Happens to all athletes at times. Fortunately we had someone ready to take advantage of his opportunity.

I am happy Des is finally sitting guys who have off nights or are not producing what a starter should. Give the next man an opportunity and see what happens. Well we saw what happened for multiple guys.

I remember Mike coming in after Babb cracked a couple of ribs lunging horizontally for a first down (full arms extention) (two hands on the ball) crack.

I don't remember the result of Des play in that game, or the year it happened.

I know Babb could throw.
