EMU and ULM are the two perennially worse teams in FBS. EMU is 0-3 to start. If we can't beat EMU and ULM, then UL has sunk to unreturnable depths. I posted on another thread, start Lunch and play option football. We have a running QB and good RBs, why not play to our strengths?

This is just my opinion. Dez took over when NIL started. If it would have never started. We would have Broussard WR glass LB Chriss QB Carter TE Washington RB all on this roster right now. Along with others that transfered. If NIL were around when Billy was here he would have lost top talent to the portal. If he were here now he’d be coaching in the same boat at Dez. Comparing Billy and mikes in game coaching is fine, but comparing the overall job between the 2 is apples and oranges. Please don’t give me that “ players wouldn’t leave after a 10 win season if Billy were here” BS
