    Yes sir.

But most people will circle 1 maybe 2 regular season games on a UL schedule that interests them. So it doesn’t pay to buy a full season worth.

This is the problem with not pushing the right message on “buying into be a Cajuns fan” full time.

Value is irrelevant to the casual fan. Results are irrelevant to the casual fan. What they’re looking for (the casual fan) is entertainment. When we bridge the gap between casual “entertain me” fans and die hard fans, we’ll look like App St. Until then, we better find a way to entertain casuals. Because there aren’t enough die hards out there to shoulder the burden. And to this point in SLI/USL/UL history, I don’t really blame them.

The solution has been presented. It has fallen on deaf ears.

I almost want to bring out the How to Improve Attendance and Fan Engagement PDF again.

The issue is, we’ve lost the casual fan—and we have to win them back.

Instead, we’re stuck arguing about whether to get rid of kids playing on the hill, which only alienates fans even further.
    Right.

Odds of more Cajuns in seats: Peeps who were once a Cajuns fan vs. Cajuns in Cajun Field.

I remember when saints games had to be sold out or it wouldnt be on tv, i think by a certain time, maybe thursday at noon or something like that. Anyhoo Larry Lundy who owned a lot of pizza hut's used to buy the difference tk meet the on tv threshhold amd then give them to kids

The problem is that any solution starts with an admission that they screwed up.. ex. "Ticket prices now LOWER!" means youre admitting that you never should have raised them

This admin doesn't strike me as one to admit mistakes, but it seems like there's no better time than when the previous prez just exited

Was $15 dollars not low enough last year?

Much of the pricing structure we have been using up to this point originated in the early Hud era. That price point seemed appropriate at the time as interest was booming, and we were bringing 40k+ people to NO for a party at the end of each season. The error made was in not adjusting back in the period since then when demand has waned considerably, particularly for tailgating.

I still think that price will not be the make or break factor for if we succeed in filling OLOL in the next few years. It will be the experience people have when they visit. Our entire focus marketing wise has been on the premium, and it shows in the sales for the “cheap” seats. Hopefully the level of effort to enhance the experience for the common fans is not equal to the level of marketing that has happened to draw that group in.
