Gonna be a lot of peaks and valleys this year I’m afraid.

But the returning players going 1/15 with 7 strikeouts just cannot happen. Not against that level of competition.

I’m usually not a fan of 2 midweek games in a week, especially going in to a big weekend series, but thankfully, this team gets to play again tomorrow. And they get an opportunity to wipe some of the stank away after tonight’s game.

So they beat us in basketball, Baseball, sure hope we beat them in football or we will never hear the end of it. Yikes.

Another big issue is that, among the returning players, you have Amedee, Higgs, Cuff, and Mandino…all left handed hitters. And anybody who’s paid close attention knows that Yuhasz, even though he hits right handed, struggles mightily against left handed pitchers.

That leaves Stelly and Torres. While both are pretty solid hitters, neither of them are big threats. Add to that the most impressive freshman to this point has been Brooks Wright, another left handed hitter, and it’s pretty obvious that this team will be VERY susceptible to getting dominated by lefty pitchers. Or in a case like tonight, teams that have a bunch of lefty relievers that they can play match up with.

I think B.W. is a switch hitter. Im not sure if I've seen him hit R yet only L. He has one hell of a resume'.

Your link to the roster clearly says that he bats left and throws right.

Our at bats all 9 innings were so bad AND progressively got worse....I assumed someone spiked the gatorade.

Pitchers don’t have to pitch around a single hitter in any lineup. You can attack every guy.
